• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Great day to get out and enjoy the island today.! High temperature of 73F with winds out of the NE at 14mph. Looks like more of the same weather for tomorrow as well.

    Avon reported large Sea Mullet and puppy Drum. Bluefish and puppy Drum at the point today. Here in Frisco we had Sea Mullet and scattered puppy Drum as well. Reports out of Hatteras were scattered puppy Drum and small Speckled Trout.

    Rodanthe Pier- puppy Drum

    Avon Pier- large Red Drum last night but no report for today as of now.

    The offshore boats out of Hatteras hit good weather and did well with King Mackerel and Blackfin Tuna. They also picked up scattered Wahoo and Dolphin.

    Inshore boats caught limits of Speckled Trout and did well with keeper Red Drum.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Weather was beautiful today on the island. High of 68F with winds out of the East at 7mph. Looks like winds will shift to the SE tomorrow with a chance of showers throughout the day.

    The point saw some good action today with Red Drum, Sea Mullet and small Bluefish. Sea Mullet and Blowtoads in Frisco today. Ramp 55 in Hatteras also had Sea Mullet and some Blowtoads.

    No reports from the piers as of the time of this post.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras that did go out today caught their limits of Triggerfish and Snapper with Sea Bass mixed in.

    The inshore boats are still doing well with Red Drum.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Gorgeous weather day here on the island! Sunny with a high temperature of 57F. Winds out of the NW at 13mph.

    Rodanthe Pier had catches of puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Speckled Trout and Blowtoads.

    Avon Pier had a good day with large Red Drum, Sea Mullet, Black Drum, Spot and Blowtoads.

    We had good amounts of Sea Mullet caught here off of ramp 48.

    Inshore boats out of Hatteras did well with Red Drum.

    One boat fished nearshore and caught a mixed bag of Spanish Mackerel, Spot, Croaker, Grey Trout and Bluefish.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Another day of high winds here on the island. We had a high of 52F with winds out of the NW at 23mph at the time of this post. Looks like the winds will die down later Tuesday afternoon.

    Not a lot to report off the surf today other than some puppy Drum caught at the point today.

    High winds kept all the boats out of Hatteras tied to the docks again today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    High temperature for today was 77F with winds out of the West at 26mph currently. Winds will be gusty at times early Monday morning.

    Avon Pier had large Red Drum and Sea Mullet caught today. Red Drum were biting at the point today. Sea Mullet and puppy Drum caught off of ramp 48.

    Weather kept all boats out of Hatteras at the docks today.
