  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Hey, what can we say about today on the island?? At least the sun was out!

High temperature for today was 68F, with winds out of the North this morning at 23mph tapering off to 13mph out of the NW this evening.

Looks like a decent day tomorrow, might be able to get some surf fishing in later on in the afternoon and evening time. So if you’re still stranded here on our beautiful island due to the over wash, give it a shot and get out there fishing! Enjoy the next few days.

Bunch of anglers in today to pick up Drum rigs and bait. puppy Drum at the Point today. We did have reports of decent size Bluefish down in Hatteras last night and slot sized Drum in the sound in Buxton and Frisco.

Unfortunately for the offshore and inshore boats the weather kept them at the docks again today.
