• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Not the best of weather here for the next few days. Today’s high was 73F, cloudy with wind out of the North at 30mph. High swells keeping most anglers off of the beach.

Piers are closing up earlier tonight due to the inclement weather.

Red Drum bite had been good on the North beaches past couple of days.

No offshore or inshore reports for today, wind kept everyone tied to the docks.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Sunny skies today with a High of 79F, winds out of the NE at 22mph made it a little rough of a day for fishing off the beaches. Looks like we are going to see the winds die down a bit Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.

Red Drum reported in the sound from Buxton down to the inlet in Hatteras. Most have been caught on finger sized Mullet. Speckled Trout bite has slowed a bit but we still had reports of some taken sound side in Buxton.

No offshore report today. Winds kept the fleet at the dock.

The inshore boats that did go out today did well with Red Drum and lots of Bluefish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Mostly cloudy today with a high temp of 81F here in Frisco. Winds out of the North at 22mph made it difficult for fishing from the beach today. Looks to be the same forecast until Wednesday.

A very good Red Drum bite in the sound from Buxton to Hatteras today with some large Speckled Trout in the mix. Get out in the sound with some finger mullet and give it a go!

No offshore report as the weather kept them tied up to the docks.

The inshore boats are still doing great with limits of Red Drum and large Red Drum releases.
