We had a high of 88F here in Frisco today! Hot and humid but a good day for fishing.

Avon and Buxton reported Sea Mullet and Pompano today. Here in Frisco there was a strong Sea Mullet bite.

The inshore fleet out of Hatteras did really well on Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and Speckled Trout.

The offshore fleet had scattered Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna along with bottom fishing for Triggerfish and Amberjack.

Today’s high was 91F and humid. Winds were down at 6-10mph ENE.

Nothing to report off the beach today.

We did have one citation Speckled Trout weighed here at the shop this evening by customer William Smith from Buxton. 5 pound, 11 ounces!

The inshore boats out of Hatteras reported catches of Speckled Trout, Red Drum, and Bluefish.

The offshore fleet caught Wahoo, Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Grouper, Red Snapper, Tilefish, Sea Bass, and Sailfish.

Today’s high was 86F. Another hazy, hot and humid July day here on the island…!

Sea Mullet and some Croaker caught here off of ramp 49 today.

The reports of fishing from Hatteras were a little slower today.

Inshore boats still did good on Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish

The offshore fleet did well with Dolphin. One Blue Marlin was caught and released.

It was a gorgeous day here on the Island..! Hope everyone got out and enjoyed our beaches as much as possible!

Today’s high was 85F, with a SW wind at around 20mph.

We heard of Sea Mullet being caught from Avon south to Hatteras with a few Pompano scattered in here at Ramp 49.

Our inshore fleet out of Hatteras today did well on Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel again.

The offshore fleet were on the billfish today! They also brought back catches of Dolphin and Wahoo. Bottom fishing was good as well with Triggerfish, Snapper and Grouper.
