• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the low to mid 80s. The winds were onshore at south beach blowing SSW at 12-16 mph. Sea surface temperature off Cape Point is around 76F.

    High tide: 10:17 am, 10:43 pm   and    Low tide: 5:19 am, 5:04 pm.

    Frisco beach had catches of Sea Mullet and Pompano. At Hatteras inlet there were 11 Spanish Mackerel caught as well as some Bluefish.

    Inshore boats had catches of: Puppy’s, Speckled Trout, Sea Mullet, Sting Rays, and Spanish Mackerel. 

    The offshore fleet stayed at the docks today due to strong SW winds. The near shore bottom fishing consisted of Tilefish and Red Snapper.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures hovering around 80F.  The winds were SSW at 12-15 mph. Sea surface temperature off Cape Point was around 76F.

    High tide: 9:27 am, 9:53 pm   and    Low tide: 3:40 am, 3:18 pm.

    Avon had catches of Sea Mullet and Pompano

    Inshore boats had catches of: Speckled trout, Spanish mackerel, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Grey Trout,  and a lot of Red Drum releases today.

    The offshore boats had catches of: bailer Mahi and Blackfin Tuna. Multiple White Marlin were released along with a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures hovering around 80F.  The winds were out of the north-north-east between 6-10 mph.

    We had pompano here at Ramp 49.  We weighed one in this morning at 3lbs 10oz.  There’s been some nice ones the past couple of days!

    Inshore boats had catches of speckled trout, spanish mackerel, bluefish, and a lot of red drum releases today.

    The offshore boats had catches of dolphin, good catches of blackfin tuna and grouper.  There was also a sailfish released today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a beautiful day across Hatteras Island.  We had temperatures in the low 80’s.  The winds were out of the south, turning more to the southwest this afternoon around 6-11 mph.

    The water has cleaned up today, there were sea mullet and pompano caught at Ramp 49 and Ramp 55. We had one weigh in for Angler’s Club, there was probably a few more citations caught today.

    Inshore boats had catches of speckled trout and good catches of spanish mackerel.

    The offshore boats had catches of gaffer dolphin, good catches of blackfin tuna and triggerfish.  A few snapper and grouper were also caught.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was partly sunny with some high level clouds. Winds picked up around noon to 11 mph from the Northeast then dropped back on out to around 2-4 mph from the ESE.

    High tide: 6:25 am, 6:56 pm   and    Low tide: 0:38 am, 12:23 pm

    No beach report today, ocean conditions are still a little rough and the water is still dirty.

    Inshore boats had catches of: Cobia, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, and sharks.

    The offshore boats had catches of gaffer Mahi, with both Barracuda and Grouper citation catches.
