Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had a high around 87F. We started off with light southwest winds, that changed after lunch. The winds picked up to 13 mph, with some gusts to 20.

Avon Pier is reporting pompano, spanish mackerel and bluefish. Buxton had sea mullet and pompano. Here in Frisco, we had pompano and sea mullet as well. Hatteras also had pompano.

The inshore boats had great catches of spanish mackerel.

The offshore boats had good catches of gaffer and bailer dolphin. The also had catches of amberjack and tilefish. There was a white marlin released and a couple of sailfish.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had light winds and sunny skies. The winds were from the south-east at 5-8 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

Today on the Avon and Buxton beaches sea mullet, pompano and bluefish were reported. Over on the Frisco beaches bluefish, sea mullet and pompano were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach Sea mullet, flounder, pompano and bluefish were caught.

The inshore boats caught lots of Spanish Mackerel and good puppy drum and some citation red drum.

The offshore boats real good dolphin catches, a few black fin tuna, 2 blue marlin were caught.

Congratulations to “Honey Hush” for winning the 60th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament with their 518.5 lb blue marlin.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had light winds and sunny skies. The winds were from the north-easts at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Today on the Avon and Buxton beaches sea mullet, spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported. Over on the Frisco beaches bluefish, sea mullet and some pompano and sheepshead were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach Sea mullet, flounder, pompano and bluefish were caught.

The inshore boats caught lots of Spanish Mackerel and a few Bluefish.

Congratulations to Hatteras’s Captain Rom and “Release” sport fishing for unofficially winning the Daily Release Division for Day 5 at the 60th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament releasing 2 blue marlin today.

The offshore boats had decent dolphin catches, a few black fin tuna, 2 blue marlin, 2 white marlin and 5 sailfish were released. The tilefish and trigger fish catches were good today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had south-west winds 8-14 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

In Avon they are catching Bluefish and Sea Mullet. In Buxton Sea Mullet, Spanish Mackerel and Flounder where reported. On Frisco beach they are catching Sea Mullet and Pompano. In Hatteras Red Drum were reported.

The inshore boats caught Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish.

Offshore boats caught Dolphin and Bite Me released a White Marlin.
