    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had lots of rain.  The winds were from the west switching to the north-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s dropping to the upper 40’s late in the day.

    With the heavy rain all day and some thunder and lighting off and on no one went fishing that  I know of.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was mostly sunny and 62F.  The winds were out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.

    Cape Point had some puppy drum today.  There are some folks fishing tonight for the big ones, hopefully we will hear of some tomorrow and let you know.  Hatteras had reports of puppy drum and black drum.

    There is no inshore report for today.

    Several boats went offshore today.  They had great catches of wahoo with some yellowfin tuna mixed in.  The bottom fishing was pretty good, with catches of amberjack, vermillion snapper and triggerfish.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was mostly sunny.  By this afternoon we had northeast winds 15-20, with gusts to 25 mph.

    There were reports of a few drum and sharks at Cape Point today.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had some nicer weather with temps reaching around 65. Winds started out of the north-east this morning and have shifted to the south-west this evening. Wind speed has been increasing throughout the day to around 15 mph and gusts to 25 mph.

    We’ve heard reports of puppy drum and sharks being caught from the Avon to Hatteras. Other reports of dogfish, sea mullet, and blow toads as well.

    There were reports of offshore bottom fishing, coming back with triggerfish and amberjack.

    No inshore reports today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had cool breezy day with north-west winds averaging 15 mph and gusting to the mid 20s. Temps started out near freezing this morning and we even had some snow flurries. We reached a high of 48 by this afternoon.

    No fishing reports today.
