• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the north northwest at 10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

    In Avon some scattered sea mullet were reported.  Around Buxton  Puppy Drum, Bluefish, Speckled Trout and Sea Mullet were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach some Speckled Trout were caught along with a few Bluefish and some scattered Puppy Drum.

    Off shore charters reported Blackfin Tuna and some Wahoo.

    Inshore charters reported Puppy Drum and Speckled Trout.

    Fish on.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the north at 7-14 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

    In Avon  some puppy drum, black drum and sea mullet were reported.  Around the Buxton  puppy drum, black drum and sea mullet were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach speckled trout fishing was great, bluefish and puppy drum were reported.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today

    The guys from Hickory, NC had a great time fishing at Cape Point.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had cooler temperatures and over cast skies.  The winds were from the north at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.

    Up on the Avon beach some puppy drum and bluefish were reported.  Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach some real good speckled trout fishing, puppy drum,bluefish and citation sea mullet were reported.  Pictured are a couple of citation sea mullet caught over on the Frisco beach today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The morning started off nice, but quickly made a turn for the worse.  It cooled off and some rain moved in.  The temperature was in the upper 50’s with north winds between 5-10 mph.

    Avon Pier is reporting bluefish and puppy drum today.  In Buxton they had some sharks, puppy drum and flounder.  In Frisco there were a few puppy drum.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a nice day on Hatteras Island.  We reached a high of 60F and the winds were out of the northeast between 5 and 10 mph.

    Avon is reporting some puppy drum, bluefish and flounder.  Buxton had bluefish and sea mullet.  Here in Frisco we had bluefish, pompano, spot, black drum, small flounder and a few puppy drum.  Hatteras had some puppy drum.

    There were no inshore boats that fished today.

    The offshore report for today is a good catch of king mackerel.
