• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with temperatures in the mid 60’s.  The winds were from the north northeast at 8 mph. with gust to 17 mph.

    Along the Avon beaches Sea Mullets were still being caught by the buckets. Other fish being caught on the Avon beaches were some scattered Bluefish, a few Speckled Trout still showing up and the occasional Puppy Drum. the Avon Pier reported numerous old Drum being caught today. In Buxton at the Point old Drum made an appearance and several were caught along with a good showing of Sea Mullet on the north side. Over on the Frisco beach there were still some Speckled Trout were reported along with scattered Sea Mullets and at least one Puppy Drum reported near the old Frisco Pier.

    There were no reports on inshore or offshore boats today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with temperatures in the mid 60’s.  The winds were from the east – northeast at 3-7 mph.

    In Avon Sea Mullet were filling coolers, they were also catching Bluefish, Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum.  In Buxton they are catching Speckled Trout and a fisherman reported biters Sharks on Cape Point.  Over on the Frisco beach Speckled Trout were reported.

    There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.

    Today it was sunny with temperatures in the mid 60’s.  The winds were from the west at 5-7 mph.

    In Avon Sea Mullet were reported. In Buxton they are catching Sea Mullet, Flounder, Bluefish and Puppy Drum. Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beach Sea Mullet, and Speckled Trout were reported.

    There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was calm and sunny.  The winds were from the north-east switching to the south-east at 5-8 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

    Up on the and Buxton beaches lots of sea mullet were caught as well as some bluefish and flounder. Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beach some nice sea mullet, speckled trout and puppy drum were reported.

    There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was beautiful!  It was sunny and blue skies, with very little wind and a high of 61F.

    Avon Pier reported lots of sea mullet today.  The Point is reporting sea mullet, puppy drum and bluefish.  Frisco Pier had a good speckled trout bite today along with a few flounder.

    There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.
