Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was most;y cloudy with rain showers off and on. The winds were from the west south-west at 20-30 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

Slow fishing on the beaches. Some bluefish and a pompano were reported on the Buxton beaches

No boats out inshore or offshore today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was partly cloudy with calm winds. The winds were from the south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

A few fish were caught today. Some spanish mackerel were caught out at Cape Point in Buxton today. The Buxton beach had some nice sea mullet reported. A few puppy drum were caught down around Hatteras Inlet.

The inshore boats caught puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound today.

The offshore boats stayed at the dock today due to the thunderstorms today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was rainy and overcast with calm winds. We had south-west winds at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

No fish to report from the beaches with the rainy weather.

The inshore boats caught red drum and spanish mackerel in and around Hatteras Inlet.

The offshore boats had scattered catches of blackfin tuna, dolphin, grouper and tilefish. A mako and a blue marlin was released.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today turned out to be a nice day. We had a high of 84F. We had light south-south-east winds this morning, the winds increased this evening to 12 mph and switched to the southwest.

There are sea mullet being caught up and down the beaches, a few citation size. There were also a few black drum and puppy drum caught. Yesterday there was a cobia caught off the beach at Hatteras Inlet.

The inshore boats had catches of cobia, red drum and limits of spanish mackerel.

The marlin bite was off the off today! A couple of boats had double headers! The dolphin was scattered. There were a few blackfin tuna and wahoo. The bottomfishing was good today, they caught triggerfish, sea bass, tilefish and grouper.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was overcast all day. We had temperatures in the mid 70’s. The winds were light out of the north this morning and switched this evening out of the east-south-east around 9 mph.

Avon had good catches of sea mullet and some pompano. Buxton and Frisco have reported sea mullet, pompano and a few bluefish. At the Inlet there were a few spanish mackerel.

The inshore boats had catches of spanish mackerel, bluefish, cobia and drum. Pictured below is The Hook Up Charter with a couple of drum caught today.

The offshore boats had catches of dolphin, blackfin tuna, tile fish, grouper, blue marlin, white marlin and sailfish.
