• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had some early morning rain shower but the rest of the day was pretty. The temperature was in the lower 80’s. We did have some cloud cover but nothing to ruin a day at the beach. The winds were from the West at 10-15 mph.

Fishing from the beach was slower today. All I heard was some sea-mullet, bluefish, and small flounder here in Frisco.

Inshore today there was some good fishing. The Morning bite consisted of gray trout, speckled trout, and bluefish. In the afternoon the was spot and sea-mullet biting.

Offshore was a little better, with a fair dolphin bite and a few black-fin tuna biting. There was a sailfish released also.

The 58th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament Day 4 fishing was slow again with only 3 white marlins, 3 blue marlins and 4 sailfish released.   The 58th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament
