Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Beautiful weather today. The temperatures were in the upper 80’s. Winds were from the South-West at 5-10 mph.

From the beach today there was some good fishing. In Avon there was sea-mullet, croaker, and bluefish from the beach. From the Avon Pier there was spanish mackerel, and bluefish mixed in with sea-mullet, pompano, croaker and flounder biting. In Buxton there was bluefish, spanish mackerel, and sea-mullet caught. Here i Frisco there was spanish and sea-mullet caught. Hatteras beach had sea-mullet, croaker, flounder, and bluefish biting.

Inshore today there was good fishing. There was a fair speckled trout bite. There was a good spanish mackerel and bluefish bite.

Near shore there was good bottom fishing with sea-bass and triggerfish biting.

Offshore today the fishing was spread out across the map but the fishing was fair. there was dolphin, wahoo, and black-fin tuna biting.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was sunny with a heat index up to 101 degrees. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.

Up on the Avon beach some bluefish, sea mullet, flounder and a few pompano were caught. Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum, croaker, spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught. Cape Point in Buxton is open again today. Over on the Frisco beach spanish mackerel, bluefish and sea mullet were reported. Down on the Hatteras beach sea mullet, bluefish and pompano were caught today.

The Inshore boats had scattered puppy drum fishing and good bluefish catches in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had good blackfin tuna fishing, scattered wahoo and dolphin catches. Two blue marlin and a sailfish were released.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was hot and windy. We had south-west winds 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.

Up on the Avon beach there were croakers caught. Around the Buxton beaches gray trout and croaker were reported. The Frisco beach had croaker and small pompano caught. Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, sea mullet and bluefish were caught.

The Inshore boats caught bluefish, puppy drum and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had good blackfin tuna fishing, scattered dolphin and a blue marlin released.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Clear skies and hot again today. We had a high of 87F and southwest winds blowing 8-12 mph.

There’s a few fish around. Avon had a few small bluefish, croaker and sea mullet. The Pier had sea mullet, spanish mackerel and bluefish. Buxton and Frisco had croaker and sea mullet. Hatteras had reports of sea mullet, pompano and croaker.

The inshore boats are catching red drum, trout and flounder. The offshore boats had good catches of dolphin, excellent catches of blackfin tuna and a few wahoo and bottom fish as well. There were a couple of sailfish releases too.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was a beautiful, hot day today. We reached 90F and the winds were a steady 8 mph out of the southwest.

There’s a few fish around. Avon is reporting sea mullet, spot, croaker and flounder. The Pier had sea mullet, bluefish and croaker. Buxton had sea mullet, spot, pompano and croaker. Frisco had sea mullet and pompano. Hatteras had sea mullet and spot.

The inshore boats had catches of red drum, keepers and releases. The offshore boats had good catches of blackfin tuna, some dolphin and wahoo.
