    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had cloudy skies with a few light showers here and there.  We took about a 24 degree drop in temperatures from yesterday.  Our high today was 54F.  We had northeast winds 17-10 mph.

    A few folks ventured out today and tried their luck.  There were a few blow toads and a couple of small puppy drum at Ramp 49.

    All the charter boats stayed at the docks today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Over cast day. We had scattered showers late in the day. Temperatures were in the mid 60’s. Winds were calm from the East in the morning turning North late in the afternoon and picking up to 5-10 mph.

    Fishing from the beach today slowed down. Only report we heard was a few puppy drum, sea-mullet, and blow-toads from Ramp 49 here in Frisco

    Offshore today there was some really good fishing. The black-fin and yellow-fin tuna bite was great. There was some mako sharks caught as well. There was a few gaffer dolphin caught as well.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had clear blue skies today. This morning the wind were 15-20 mph from the North-East but as the day went on they calmed down to 5-10 and turned more to the east. The temperature was in the upper 60’s

    In Buxton today there was blow-toads and puppy drum biting. From the Frisco beach down to Hatteras there was a good bluefish bite. Also in Frisco there was a few blow-toads caught.

    No offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The weather today was great. Little cooler temperatures in the lower 60’s. The winds were North-East at 5-10 mph. The skies were cloudy this morning and we had some fog roll in but it cleared up as the day went on.

    From the beach today the fishing was good. From the beach in Avon there was some sea-mullet, speckled trout, grey trout, and some bluefish. In Buxton there was  a few puppy drum and bluefish at the point as well as blow-toads and small bluefish at the jetties. Here in Frisco and down in Hatteras there was some bluefish and a few puppy drum.

    Offshore today there was some good fishing. The yellow-fin and black-fin tuna bite was great. There was a few wahoo caught as well. From the bottom there was black sea-bass and silver snapper.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with light winds.  The winds were from the south at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

    Around the Buxton beaches blow toads, bluefish and sea mullet were caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish, puppy drum and sharks were reported. Over on the Frisco beach lots of bluefish were caught along with a few blow toads.  The Hatteras beaches reported bluefish, flounder and blow toads.

    The offshore boats caught black fin tuna, amber jack and albacore today.
