Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had clear skies and a high of 63F. It was a bit breezy with winds out of the west-south-west between 17 and 24 mph.

There were a few puppy drum around Cape Point this morning.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

They are Tuesday, March 1st in Buxton at the high school 6-8pm, Wednesday, March 2nd on Ocracoke, and Thursday, March 3rd in Raleigh, NC. Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was a beautiful day here on Hatteras Island, clear skies and a temperature right around 60F. We had west winds this morning, switching to the west-south-west around lunch and blowing about 15 mph. The winds switched again this afternoon to the southwest.

Today was a good day to be out fishing. There were sea mullet, puppy drum, blow toads and bluefish at the jetties. Cape Point had a few puppies, dog sharks and skates. Frisco had good catches of blow toads. Hatteras had a few blow toads and a small black drum.

The offshore fishing was good today too. There were a couple of bluefin tuna caught, one released. The bottomfishing was good. The boats caught Triggerfish, Golden Tilefish, Black Belly Rose Fish, Almacojacks and one Glass Eye Snapper. Pictured below is the “Bite Me” with a nice golden tile.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Temperatures dropped to the mid 40’s today with the calm North winds. The sun was shining and skies were clear.

Fishing from the beach picked up today From the beach in Buxton scattered sea-mullet. Here in Frisco. There was scattered blow toads and sea-mullet. In Hatteras near the inlet there was a few stray bluefish.

Offshore today there was some good fishing. There was a good catch of black-fin tuna caught. There was only one reported blue-fin tuna caught today. The bottom fishing was good today with a nice amberjack bite.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The weather today was great. The temperatures was around 50 degrees. The winds were From the North-West at 10-15 mph dropping off late in the day to light from the North.

Not much from the beach. The water is still rough and some of the ramps are closed due to heavy rainfall from the past week.

Seas were still a little rough today from the storms this past week. The charter boats are planning on fishing this weekend with the weather clearing up.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had blue skies if the wind wasn’t still blowing you would have never guessed we had a storm roll through last night. Temperatures were around 50 degrees today. The winds were West at 15-20 mph.

With the storm rolling through late last night causing rough beach conditions and seas there’s not much to report for fishing today.
