Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today the weather was cloudy with some scattered rain showers. The temperatures were in the upper 60’s and winds were south-west at 5-10 mph turning North later in the afternoon.

From the beach today there was still some good fishing even with the rain. In Avon and Buxton there was sea-mullet and bluefish biting. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet and blow-toads caught.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was overcast with calm winds and rain showers mid day. The winds were from the south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

Up on the Avon beach some bluefish were caught. On the Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point sharks and skates were caught. Over on the Frisco beach at Ramp 49 bluefish, sea mullet, a few flounder and puppy drum were reported. Pictured below is 5 year old Owen with a nice 17 in puppy drum he caught and released today on the Frisco Beach. Nice Catch Owen.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was overcast and windy with more warm temperatures. The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

Up on the Avon beach some sea mullet and puppy drum were reported. Around the Buxton beaches a few blow toads, puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet were caught. Out at Cape Point sharks and skates reported. Over on the Frisco beach a few sea mullet and blow toads. Down on Ramp 55 in Hatteras blow toads, sea mullet and a nice citation 2.25 lb pompano and a black drum caught by Darr Barshis today. Pretty work!!!

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The temperatures were a little cooler than yesterday. We had rainshowers off and on today and had a high around 66F. It was a little breezy today with winds out of the north-east from 12-6 mph with higher gusts. Warmer temperatures are moving in this evening, along with more rain.

There were blow toads and small puppy drum this morning in Buxton. This evening at Frisco Pier, there were small blow toads and small sea mullet. The seas were a little rough.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had clear skies and another day of warm temperatures. We reached a high of 73F today. Winds were out of the southwest at 5-11 mph.

Avon had a few bluefish to report. Buxton had a few flounder, blow toads and sea mullet. Frisco had some sea mullet and a few puppy drum. Picture below is Susan McClanahan with her flounder she caught today.

There were a few puppy drum caught by boats fun fishing in the sound today.
