Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we reached a high of 41F, but with the northwest winds blowing 10-15 mph it sure felt colder. The temperatures will dip into the 20’s overnight.

We have not had any reports today for the beach, inshore or offshore. Tomorrow is going to be a cold one, stay warm!

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The day started off in the mid 50’s and rainy, with winds around 8 mph out of the north-north-east. The winds switched to the north and blew a good 20 mph with some higher gusts. The rain finally ended late afternoon and temps dropped.

Ramp 43 had a few small puppy drum and small speckled trout this morning, before all the wind started. Ramp 49 had nothing but grass.

There were no boats out today due to the weather.

This week should be good for duck hunting with all this cold weather. Good Luck!

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Big change in the weather from last night to this morning. Over night we had heavy rain and winds 20-25 mph gusting to 30 mph. Today the winds dropped to 5-10 mph from the West. There was still some clouds in the sky today.

The rough weather last night roughed the ocean up today making any kind of fishing had to do.

No inshore or offshore report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Temperatures rose again today to the lower 60’s. Winds started out calm today from the North-East but picked up to 15-20 mph and turned to the South-East. Skies were clear for most of the day but early in the afternoon clouds rolled in and the rain started.

Fishing from the beach today slowed down some. Seems like today there was only a few speckled trout and a handful of grey trout caught on the Buxton beach.

Offshore today the bottom fishing was great again. There was rosefish, barrelfish, and golden tilefish. The near shore boats had a good day fishing for king mackerel.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The sun was out again today and the temperatures were up to the mid 50’s. The winds were west at 5-10 mph.

Not much fishing going on from the beach today. There was a few smaller speckled trout caught in Buxton today. Here in Frisco and down in Hatteras there were some blow toads, sea-mullet, and a few of puppy drum caught.

Bottom fishing offshore today was pretty good. there was some sea bass, triggerfish, B-liners, amberjack, and albacore biting.
