Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was sunny and warm with light winds. The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s with a heat index in the low 70’s.

In Buxton at the Jetties today there were some puppy drum, speckled and gray trout and bluefish caught. Around the Frisco and Hatteras Beaches bluefish and flounder were reported.

There were no inshore or offshore reports for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was overcast, but we reached a high of 75F. Crazy for December! We had south winds for most of the day 6-23 mph. Rain showers moved in this evening.

In Buxton at the Jetties today there were catches of speckled trout and bluefish. At the Point there were bluefish and blow toads. Frisco had sea mullet and bluefish. Hatteras had reports of bluefish and blow toads. Pictured below is Jim Price with a citation sea mullet he caught this morning at Ramp 49.

There were no inshore or offshore reports for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was just beautiful! This afternoon was a little overcast, but the temperature was around 71F and winds were around 3 mph out of the south, switching to the south-south-east this evening.

There are a few fish around. Avon had some puppy drum and some speckled trout today. Buxton had reports of puppy drum, small bluefish, a few flounder, sea mullet and a few big drum. Frisco beach had nice catches of bluefish, sea mullet and blow toads. We did not hear anything from Hatteras beach today. Pictured below is the Revere boys with their families catch today.

The inshore boats had good catches of speckled trout.

The offshore boats had good catches of king mackerel and scattered albacore.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The weather was perfect today. December day with temperatures in the 70’s. the winds were West at 5-10 mph.

The fishing was great from the beach today. In Avon there was puppy drum, sea-mullet, and speckled trout biting. In Buxton there was Bluefish and some small puppy drum caught. Here in Frisco there was a little bit of everything, some pompano, sea-mullet, bluefish, puppy drum, and some croakers. Hatteras beach had blow-toads, bluefish, sea-mullet and some flounder.

No boats out inshore today.

Offshore fishing was great again today. The wahoo and dolphin bite was good. There was a great king mackerel bite today. A few black-fin tuna bite was scattered.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Another beautiful day here on the island. The temperatures were in the upper 60’s. Winds were West at 5-10 mph.

The fishing picked up today. In Avon there was speckled trout, black-drum, puppy drum, and a few flounder. In Buxton there was puppy drum black drum, and speckled trout. Here in Frisco there was small bluefish, and some blow-toads. Hatteras beach there was sea-mullet, and bluefish biting.

No boats out inshore today.

The fishing was great offshore today. There was a scattered black-fin tuna bite, but the wahoo, king mackerel, and dolphin fishing was good.
