Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was a beautiful, clear day here on Hatteras Island. It’s beginning to feel a little like the season finally. The temperature high was 53F and we had west winds between 5 and 9 mph.

The reports are a little scattered. We did have some blow toads this morning around Frisco Pier. There was bluefish, sea mullet and small speckled trout scattered from Buxton to Hatteras.

There were no inshore or offshore reports for today.

Duck Season is in full swing here on Hatteras Island, we finally have the weather for it. Happy Hunting!

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

A sunny but cool day here today. The temperatures were in the lower 50’s today with calm North winds.

Fishing slowed down today. Here in Frisco today there was a scattered bluefish caught. In Buxton there was some sea-mullet and a few blues biting.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Cooler weather and cloudy skies came today. Temperatures were in the upper 50’s. Winds were from the North Today at 5-10 mph.

From the beach today the fishing was great. In Buxton there was a good bite from the bluefish. Here in Frisco there was blow-toads, bluefish, sea-mullet and a few black-drum.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today the weather was cloudy with some scattered rain showers. The temperatures were in the upper 60’s and winds were south-west at 5-10 mph turning North later in the afternoon.

From the beach today there was still some good fishing even with the rain. In Avon and Buxton there was sea-mullet and bluefish biting. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet and blow-toads caught.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

December 30, 2015

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was overcast with calm winds and rain showers mid day. The winds were from the south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

Up on the Avon beach some bluefish were caught. On the Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point sharks and skates were caught. Over on the Frisco beach at Ramp 49 bluefish, sea mullet, a few flounder and puppy drum were reported. Pictured below is 5 year old Owen with a nice 17 in puppy drum he caught and released today on the Frisco Beach. Nice Catch Owen.
