    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Hard to believe its Christmas eve. Temperatures were in the upper 70’s. Winds were South-West at 10-15 mph. There was some clouds in the sky today.

    From the beach today there was some scattered sea-mullet and a few bluefish but not many people were fishing.

    No reports of boats fishing inshore or offshore today.

    Ramp 44 is now opened! There is still a few inches of water but it is passable. It is recommended that you still use Ramp 43 due to a small drop off at the end of the ramp.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was partly sunny with some rain showers after dark.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Up on the Avon beach some bluefish and sharks have been reported.  A few speckled and gray  trout were reported on the beaches of Buxton.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton a real good bluefish bite was going on today using metal lures.  The Frisco beach had some good blow toads catches.

    No reports of boats fishing inshore today.

    The offshore boats caught some king mackerel.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was an overcast day, with warm temperatures.  We reached a high of 66F, with light winds out of the northeast and southwest.

    The fishing reports are spotty right now.  I am hearing of fish being caught, just not sure on the area.  There have been bluefish, blow toads and small speckled trout.

    The charter boats had excellent catches and limits of king mackerel. Some folks will be getting citations in the near future for the kings they caught today.

    Ramp 44 is now opened! There is still a few inches of water but it is passable. It is recommended that you still use Ramp 43 due to a small drop off at the end of the ramp.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today the skies were a bit overcast, with a high of 57F.  We had winds out of the northeast from 4-10 mph.

    Fishing has been a little on the slow side.  The only reports are coming from Buxton.   Some bluefish, small puppy drum and speckled trout were reported there today.

    There are no charter boats out today.  There are some commercial boats out and they had good catches of king mackerel.

    Temperatures dropped over night! The temperature for today was in the mid 40’s. Winds were from the North-West today at 10-15 mph.

    Not much fishing today due to rough seas from the gusty winds overnight.

    Ramp 44 is now opened! There is still a few inches of water but it is passable. It is recommended that you still use Ramp 43 due to a small drop off at the end of the ramp.

    No Inshore or offshore report for today due to wind.
