Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was just beautiful! This afternoon was a little overcast, but the temperature was around 71F and winds were around 3 mph out of the south, switching to the south-south-east this evening.

There are a few fish around. Avon had some puppy drum and some speckled trout today. Buxton had reports of puppy drum, small bluefish, a few flounder, sea mullet and a few big drum. Frisco beach had nice catches of bluefish, sea mullet and blow toads. We did not hear anything from Hatteras beach today. Pictured below is the Revere boys with their families catch today.

The inshore boats had good catches of speckled trout.

The offshore boats had good catches of king mackerel and scattered albacore.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The weather was perfect today. December day with temperatures in the 70’s. the winds were West at 5-10 mph.

The fishing was great from the beach today. In Avon there was puppy drum, sea-mullet, and speckled trout biting. In Buxton there was Bluefish and some small puppy drum caught. Here in Frisco there was a little bit of everything, some pompano, sea-mullet, bluefish, puppy drum, and some croakers. Hatteras beach had blow-toads, bluefish, sea-mullet and some flounder.

No boats out inshore today.

Offshore fishing was great again today. The wahoo and dolphin bite was good. There was a great king mackerel bite today. A few black-fin tuna bite was scattered.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Another beautiful day here on the island. The temperatures were in the upper 60’s. Winds were West at 5-10 mph.

The fishing picked up today. In Avon there was speckled trout, black-drum, puppy drum, and a few flounder. In Buxton there was puppy drum black drum, and speckled trout. Here in Frisco there was small bluefish, and some blow-toads. Hatteras beach there was sea-mullet, and bluefish biting.

No boats out inshore today.

The fishing was great offshore today. There was a scattered black-fin tuna bite, but the wahoo, king mackerel, and dolphin fishing was good.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was cloudy today bit that didn’t make it a bad day. The temperatures were in the mid 60’s. Winds were barely blowing from the North today.

In Buxton there was speckled trout, puppy drum, blue fish, sea-mullet, and some small flounder. Here in the Frisco beach there was a few sea-mullet biting.

No boats out inshore today.

Offshore today there was a scattered wahoo, and king mackerel bite along with some triggerfish from the bottom.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies and light winds. The winds were from the east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

Up on the Avon beaches some puppy drum were caught. Around the Buxton beach some speckled trout, flounder and puppy drum were reported. The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had a few speckled trout, blow toads and sea mullet.

No boats out inshore today.

The offshore boats caught yellowfin and blackfin tuna. The king mackerel live bait fishing was really good too.
