Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The day stared out great. The temperatures were in the lower 60’s but dropped as the day went on. The winds started out from the West at 10-15 mph turning North at 5-10 mph.

Fishing from the beach today was scattered. From the beach in Avon there was some scattered puppy drum and a few bluefish. Avon pier had another good day with the big red drum. In Buxton the fishing was scattered there was a few bluefish. Here in Frisco there was some bluefish and speckled trout caught. Hatteras beach had a pretty good day with some puppy drum and bluefish around.

Windy conditions kept the boats at the docks today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had more light rain with cloudy skies. The winds were from the south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

Up on the Avon Pier more big red drum were caught. The beaches of Avon had bluefish and sea mullet. Around the Buxton beaches good speckled trout fishing, a few puppy drum and gray trout. Out at Cape Point in Buxton sea mullet were caught. Over on the Frisco beach near Frisco Pier some nice speckled trout were caught off shrimp. A few blow toads were mixed too.

There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had some light rain with cloudy skies. The winds were from the north-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

Up on the Avon Pier some big red drum were caught. The beaches of Avon, Buxton and Frisco had catches of blow toads, puppy drum and sea mullet. Out at Cape Point in Buxton puppy drum were caught. The bluefish made a showing down on the Hatteras beach along with some blow toads and flounder.

There were no inshore boats out today.

The offshore king mackerel fishing was really good today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was cloudy, with the threat of rain. It finally started raining this evening. The temperature was around 62F. We had light north winds around 5 mph for most of the day.

The reports from Avon today are bluefish, sea mullet, one keeper flounder and a few speckled trout. Buxton reports at Cape Point plenty of bluefish, blow toads, puppy drum and small gray trout. Frisco had reports of a few sea mullet, a speckled trout or two, bluefish and blow toads. The bluefish and blow toads were around the pier. Hatteras had a few flounder.

There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

November 29, 2015

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was a beautiful day. We had a high of 66F and hardly any winds.

It seems the catching picked up a little bit more today. Avon had reports of small bluefish, sea mullet and puppy drum. Avon Pier had some bluefish today. Buxto4n reports speckled trout, bluefish and puppy drum. Here at Ramp 49 there was a nice 7lb black drum and a couple of undersize stipers. Hatteras had reports of bluefish, puppy drum, black drum, flounder, sea mullet and blow toads. Doyle Clark caught this nice 7lb black drum today at Ramp 49.

Some boats fished nearshore today and caught some king mackerel. Those that fished offshore caught blackfin tuna and had good catches of wahoo. Some bottom fished and had good catches of grouper, vermillion snapper and triggerfish.
