    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had cooler temperatures with sunny skies.  The winds were from the north at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.

    Up on the Buxton beach some speckled trout  were reported as well as a few puppy drum.  The Frisco beach had a few speckled trout.  Down on the Hatteras beaches blow toads, sea mullet, sharks, a few flounder and puppy drum were reported.

    No boats out today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today started off cloudy and a temperature around 60F.  After lunch the rain moved in and the temperature dropped a little.  The winds were out of the north 5-12 mph.

    There were a few fish caught before the rain started.  Here on the south beach were some small bluefish, blow toads and sea mullet.

    The weather kept the boats at the docks today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a beautiful day on Hatteras Island.  There was still a slight breeze, but a little warmer.  The temperature was around 62F.

    Fishing is a little spotty.  You have to be in the right spot to get the fish.  Those in Avon caught small bluefish.  Buxton had a variety with some puppy drum, bluefish, sea mullet and speckled trout.  Frisco had some speckled trout and small bluefish.  Hatteras had small bluefish and small flounder.

    There were no charter boats out today, but the commercial boats are having nice catches of king mackerel.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The skies were blue but the temperatures were cool. The temperature today was in the upper 50’s. The winds were 5-10 from the North-East.

    Fishing from the beach today was really slow. From the beach in Avon there was sea-mullet, flounder, black drum, and a scattered puppy drum bite. In Hatteras there was some bluefish and small flounder biting.

    No inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    It was a cool and sunny day here today. The temperatures were in the lower 50’s and winds were North-East at 10-15 mph.

    Fishing from the beach was scattered today. In Buxton there was some bluefish and a few small puppy drum. Here in Frisco there was some sea-mullet biting.

    No inshore report for today.

    For the offshore boats the fishing was scattered. There was black-fin tuna, dolphin, wahoo, and king mackerel caught but the bite was scattered.
