Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today the weather couldn’t have been better. The temperature was in the upper 50’s for the majority of the day with a high in the low 60’s. The wind started out north-east this morning but switched to south-east in the afternoon.

Fishing from the beach is starting to look better and better. The bigger drum are showing up more and more at the point and the puppy drum are scattered all around.

Great day for offshore fishing. The Bluefin tuna are still here. Yellowfin tuna showed up today along with some gaffer sized dolphin.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was a little cooler. We had partly cloudy skies with the winds from the north-east at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.

There were puppy drum and some bigger 35-40 inch red drum caught out at Cape Point in Buxton today. The Frisco beach at Ramp 49 had a scattered puppy drum bite.

No boats out today inshore and or offshore today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had another beautiful day here on Hatteras Island. Mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the upper 60’s. The winds blew West-South-West all day long 10-18 mph.

The southwest winds have brought some big drum into Cape Point. There were around 4 big red drum caught and a few puppy drum.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was a beautiful day with sunny skies and warm temperatures. The winds were from the south-east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

There was a puppy drum and sea mullet bite on the Buxton beach today. Cape Point in Buxton had sharks and skates. The Frisco beach at Ramp 49 saw some puppy drum action.

No boats out today inshore and no bluefin tuna to report but the bottom fishing was pretty good. Golden tilefish, snowy grouper and one scattered dolphin on the troll was reported today. The picture is the “Godspeed” charter boat with a nice golden tile fish.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had nice, calm and warm weather. The winds were from the south-east at 1-4 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.

There were some puppy drum caught around the Frisco Beaches today over Ramp 49 and a pretty good shark and skate bite out at Cape Point in Buxton.

No boats out today inshore but the offshore boats had some bluefin tuna action again today. There were several spotted busting the surface with a handful caught. The picture below is the “Good Times” charter boat with a keeper bluefin tuna. They also released a 85 incher.
