    Today’s high was 82 while the low was 75 with light to moderate winds. Gusts up to 17mph. Currently it’s 77, feels like 83, with SW winds around 8mph. Gusts around 21mph. Tomorrow’s temps will be similar while winds will be a bit lighter. Winds are anticipated to only be light to gentle speeds. Chance of rain in the morning.

    Thankful that the internet is fully restored now and we’re able to see what all is happening across the state. Helene has devastated Western NC and our hearts go out to everyone impacted. Thank you to anyone who is helping out those impacted by Helene, as an island we know all too well what it’s like to be in their shoes.
