    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny and warmer than yesterday.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

    The Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point puppy drum and dog sharks were caught. On the Frisco beach a few puppy drum were caught around the Pier.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny and warm, especially for December.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 70 degrees..

    The Buxton beaches had real good puppy drum fishing around the lighthouse jetties and out at Cape Point.  On the Frisco beach a few speckled trout were caught around the Pier.

    There were good puppy drum and speckled trout catches in the Pamlico Sound down around Hatteras inlet.  There is no offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was the first full day of emergency ferry operation from Stumpy Point to Rodanthe due to the eroded pilings of the bridge over Oregon Inlet. The ferry schedule is posted on the NCDOT website.  Contracts are being awarded to fix the immediate issue until the new bridge finally get through all of the BS lawsuits from the SELC.

    Today was partly cloudy with some rain showers.  The winds were from the east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

    The Buxton beaches had some reports of puppy drum and sea mullet.  Real good catches of puppy drum out at Cape Point all afternoon.  On the Frisco beach by the Pier some decent speckled trout were caught.  A few puppy drum were reported too.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

    Today was sunny with calm winds.  The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.

    The Buxton and Frisco beaches had reports of puppy drum. Pretty good catches of puppy drum out at Cape Point.  Down on the Hatteras beaches some puppy drum and flounder.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was overcast with a high of 61F.  Breezy with winds from the NNE at 10 to 20 mph.

    Buxton had reports of a few puppy drum, black drum and a few sea mullet.  Frisco beaches had small sea mullet, black drum and a few spot.  Hatteras had reports of black drum and spot.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.
