Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had sunny skies today.  The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s. We have pavement at Mirlo Beach and as of 8 pm today Hwy 12 is open to all traffic.  We are so happy.

Fishing today was slow. Sharks and skates were reported out at Cape Point and on the Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches just like the past few weeks.

No boats fished inshore or offshore.

We had mostly rainy weather all day today.  The winds were from the south-east switching to the north-east and back to the south-west at 10-15 mph.  The temperatures were in the low 60’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable.

A little better fishing  today.  There were some puppy drum caught on the Hatteras beach using frozen sandflees today.  Sharks and skates were reported out at Cape Point and on the Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.

We had rainy weather all day today.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph.  The temperatures were in the low 60’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable.

Not much being reported again today.  There were some sharks and skates reported out at Cape Point and on the Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.

No boats fished inshore.  There were only a few boats out today and they had some good fishing.  Citation size black fin tunas were caught along with a few yellowfin tuna. A few king mackerel were also caught.

We had sunny skies today.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 50’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable.

Not much being reported again today in fishing news.  There were some sharks and skates reported just about anywhere you fish,  out at Cape Point and on the Buxton and the Frisco beach.

No boats fished inshore.  There was some good fishing offshore today.  Citation size black fin tunas were caught along with lots of albacore and sharks.  Some boats had really good triggerfish and grouper from the bottom.  A decent day of king mackerel fishing too.
