• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. We had sunny skies today.  The winds were from the west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 40’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable and could be all day with the forecast of light winds and the ocean swell much smaller.

    The Avon beach had sharks and skates reported.  There were puppy drum and sea mullet caught out at Cape Point along with sharks and skates.  On the Frisco beach and Hatteras beach a few sea mullet were caught.

    No boats fished inshore and one boat fished offshore and caught some nice yellowfin tuna and albacore.  The picture below is the “Godspeed” charter boat with one of the yellowfin tunas they caught today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. We had sunny skies today.  The winds were from the north at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable around low tide.

    The north beach is still pretty rough.  There were puppy drum and sea mullet caught out at Cape Point along with sharks and skates.  On the Frisco beach and Hatteras beach a few puppy drum and sea mullet were caught.

    No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. We had sunny skies with much lighter winds today.  The winds were from the north switching to the south-west at 5-10 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 50’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable around low tide.

    The north beach is still rough.  There were puppy drum caught out at Cape Point along with sharks and skates.  On the Frisco beach and down over ramp 55 in Hatteras,  a few puppy drum were caught.  Pretty much the same report as yesterday.

    There were some good yellowfin tuna caught offshore today.  Lots of puppy drum were caught inshore.

  • Happy Thanksgiving Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    We hope everyone has had a Happy Thanksgiving and we are thankful for our wonder customers from near and far.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:  Today the weather was exactly the same as yesterday. We had partly sunny skies with breezy conditions again.  The winds were from the north at 10-20 mph with some gusts to 31 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 50’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable around low tide.

    The north beach is still rough.  There were puppy drum caught out at Cape Point along with sharks and skates.  on the Frisco beach and down over ramp 55 in Hatteras,  a few puppy drum were caught.

    No boats fished offshore or inshore.  With the chance of the winds calming a little tomorrow fishing could be pretty good.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:  Today the weather in Frisco was partly sunny with breezy conditons.  We had north winds 10-20 mph with some gusts to 31 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 50’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable around low tide.

    The north beach is still rough but the seas are getting smaller.  There were puppy drum caught out at Cape Point, on the Frisco beach and down over ramp 55 in Hatteras.  A few speckled trout were caught on the Frisco beach.

    No boats fished offshore.  A few inshore boats fished and they caught some puppy drum again today.
