• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies and warmer temperatures.  The winds were from the south-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s

    On the Buxton beach some bluefish, sea mullet and croaker were reported.  The Frisco beaches had sea mullet and pompanoi.  Hatteras beaches reported sea mullet, flounder, spot and croaker.  The pictures below is Eric Emerson with a 1 lb 8 oz pompano caught on the Frisco beach today.

    The inshore boats had some catches of puppy drum and cobia in the Pamlico Sound.

    The offshore fleet had some dolphin and good black fin tuna fishing.  Lots of marlin action today.  15 white marlin and 3 blue marlin were released today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies. The winds were from the north-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s

    On the Buxton beach some sea mullet, black drum and croaker were reported.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches reported sea mullet.

    The inshore boats had some good bluefish, some puppy drum, a few speckled trout and a cobia in the Pamlico Sound

    The bottom fishing was real good with sea bass, triggerfish and snapper caught. .

    The offshore fleet had some real good dolphin and yellowfin tuna fishing, the wahoo bite was scattered     Four blue marlin were released today

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies. The winds were from the north-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s

    On the Buxton beach more sea mullet and croaker were reported.  The Frisco beach had sea mullet, bluefish, flounder, black drum and a few pompano.  Down on the Hatteras beaches there were some bluefish, sea mullet, croaker and flounder being caught.

    The inshore boats had some good spanish mackerel fishing close to the beach.  In the Pamlico Sound sound there were puppy drum and bluefish caught.

    The offshore fleet had some good dolphin fishing, a few wahoo and yellowfin tuna.    A blue marlin, 2 white marlin and a sailfish were released.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had partly cloudy skies with some sunshine. The winds were from the north-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s

    On the Buxton beach some sea mullet and croaker were reported.  The Frisco beach had sea mullet, bluefish, puppy drum and a few pompano.  Down on the Hatteras beaches there were some bluefish, sea mullet,spot and croaker being caught.  Their are still big red drum being caught after dark down at Hatteras Inlet

    The inshore boats had some speckled trout, bluefish and  cobia’s caught in the Pamlico Sound.

    The offshore fleet had some good dolphin fishing, a few wahoo, yellowfin and blackfin tuna.    2 blue marlin and 4 white marlin were released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had heavy rain showers early then sunshine the rest of the day. The winds were from the south-west at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s

    On the Buxton beach some sea mullet and puppy drum were reported.  The Frisco and Hatteras beach had sea mullet and bluefish and a few flounder caught down near Hatteras Inlet.

    The inshore boats had some real good speckled trout fishing in the Pamlico Sound.  A few  cobia were also caught around Hatteras Inlet.

    The offshore fleet had some good dolphin fishing with a few yellowfin and black fin tuna catches.  Their was one white marlin released today.
