• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was rainy most of the day.  We had south-west winds 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  On the Avon beach today some bluefish, spot, sea mullet and small puppy drum were reported.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was excellent using lures, also some decent spanish mackerel and a few puppy drum were caught.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches were slow today.  Some bluefish and sea mullet were caught.  One inshore boat did make it out this morning and they had good fishing with bluefish, speckled and gray trout.  No boats out offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny, a little warmer today.  We had south-east winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.  The  Avon beaches had some bluefish, small puppy drum, pompano and a few flounder.   Around the  Buxton beach some spot, sea mullet, bluefish, small puppy drum and a few flounder were caught.  Around Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good along with a few spanish mackerel.  The Frisco beach had some bluefish and flounder reported.  Down on the Hatteras beach a mix of bluefish, sea mullet, puppy drum and spot were caught.  The inshore boats had a really good day of speckled trout fishing.  The offshore bite was pretty good today.  A few wahoo, dolphin and blackfin tuna were caught and the sailfish bite was really good today.  There were 14 sailfish, 2 blue marlin and 3 white marlin released today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and really nice again today.  We had north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.  Over on the Frisco beach there were excellent catches of bluefish and some small puppy drum.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish action was really good, a few spanish mackerel, pompano and puppy drum were also caught.  On the Hatteras beach there were flounder, bluefish, puppy drum and sea mullet reported.  The inshore boats had good speckled and gray trout fishing today.  The offshore billfish bite was awesome today with 18 sailfish, 5 white marlin and 3 blue marlin released.  The “Hatteras Fever II” had a double grand slam plus six more sailfish.  The “Godspeed” had grand slam too.  The wahoo fishing was good and a few blackfin tuna and dolphin were also caught.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and really nice.  We had north winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  The Avon beach had bluefish, sea mullet, small puppy drum and some pompano.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good on cut bait and lures.  Some sea mullet were also caught.  The Frisco beach bite consisted of some pompano and bluefish.  Down on the Hatteras beach there were small puppy drum, bluefish, a few flounder and sea mullet caught.  The inshore boats had good catches of speckled and gray trout and some red drum and bluefish.  The offshore boats had another good day of wahoo fishing, scattered dolphin and blackfin tuna.  Six sailfish were released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was partly cloudy with rain most of the day.  We had north-east winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.  Up on the Avon beach there were some small puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet caught.  Around the Buxton beach reports of sea mullet, small puppy drum, spot and bluefish.  Out at Cape Point some nice bluefish, a few spanish mackerel and sharks were reported.  The Frisco beach had a few pompano, bluefish and small puppy drum.  Down around the Hatteras beaches the flounder, sea mullet, bluefish and some small puppy drum were reported.  The inshore speckled trout bite was really good today.  The offshore wahoo bite was real good again today.  A few dolphin and blackfin tuna were scattered.  One sailfish was released today.  The “Godspeed” charter boat with another good day of wahoo fishing is pictured below with their 62 lb wahoo.
