• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was nice and sunny today.  We had north-east winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  On the Avon beach today there were sea mullet, spot and croaker caught.  Out at Cape Point the only report were some spanish mackerel on lures.  The Frisco beach was slow with only some sea mullet caught.  The Hatteras beaches had a good batch of small pompano caught, along with some sea mullet, spot, bluefish and flounder. The inshore boats had another good day of speckled trout and bluefish along with a few spanish mackerel and gray trout.  The wahoo bite was real good.  The dolphins were not, only a few.  Some nice sea bass, trigger fish and tile fish were all brought up from the bottom today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was rainy early today.  The rest of the day was nice and sunny.  We had north-east winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in  the low 80’s.  With the thunderstorms off and on all day today the fishing was minimal.  Some sea mullet, spot, croaker and bluefish were reported on the Avon beach.  A few puppy drum on the Buxton beach and some bluefish at Cape Point.  The Frisco beach was slow with only a few sea mullet and bluefish.  The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel and bluefish on the ocean side.  Good catches of speckled and gray trout were caught in the Pamlico sound.  Offshore fishing was slow.  Only a few dolphin and wahoo were caught.  The bottom fishing was good with grouper, sea bass, triggerfish and tile fish being caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was rainy this morning and clearing the rest of the day.  We had north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 80 degrees.  The fishing in Avon was pretty good today.  There were some nice sea mullet and bluefish, a few pompano, spot and puppy drum caught.  The Buxton beach also had the puppy drum bite along with some bluefish and spanish mackerel on Cape Point.  Over on the Frisco beach a few sea mullet and spot were reported.  A guy came in today and had pictures of a puffer fish that he caught yesterday on the Frisco beach.  The Hatteras beach report was lots of pompano and some sea mullet.  The inshore boats had a good day of speckled and gray trout, some flounder and red drum in the Pamlico Sound.  The spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught outside Hatteras Inlet in pretty good numbers.  The offshore boats caught some nice dolphin, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Three sailfish were released.  The bottom fishing was good today with sea bass, triggerfish, some grouper and snapper caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was rainy off and on most of the day.  We had east north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.  Out at Cape Point the spanish mackerel and bluefish were biting in the morning and a few sharks.  Over on the Frisco beach the sea mullet, bluefish and pompano were reported.  Some nice sea mullet were caught on the Hatteras Beach.  No boats fished inshore today.  The offshore boats had an ok day of fishing.  Wahoo and dolphin catches were fair, a few blackfin tuna and king mackerel were also caught.  Three blue marlin, a white marlin  and a sailfish were released today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was rainy all morning, but the sun came out most of the day.  We had mostly west winds at 10 mph and the temperatures in the low 80’s.  The fishing was pretty good today.  On the Buxton and Frisco Beaches they were a variety of fish caught.  Spot, sea mullet, pompano, croaker, a few puppy drum and bluefish.  Out at Cape Point the spanish mackerel and bluefishing was good along with plenty of sharks.  The Hatteras beach report consisted of sea mullet, croaker and bluefish.   The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel, bluefish and flounder.  The offshore boats had a slow day with some dolphin, a few wahoo and sailfish.
