    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny, hot and humid once again today.  More south-west winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 22 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  The Avon beaches caught some sea mullet and croakers.  The Buxton and Frisco beaches had scattered catches of sea mullet and pompano.  Over ramp 55 in Hatteras some nice size sea mullets and some pompano were reported.  The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and some citation big red drum.  The offshore boats had good dolphin catches, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Two white marlin and nice 5-600 lb blue marlin released aboard the “Bite Me” today.  The “Bite Me” photo today below.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny, hot and humid again today.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph with some higher gusts later in the afternoon up to 23 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s and felt like it was in the upper 90’s.  The Buxton beaches had some spanish mackerel early in the morning and a few sea mullet.  The Frisco beaches produced some nice pompano and sea mullet.  The inshore boats continue to catch lots of spanish mackerel and some nice speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.  Some big red drum and some keeper size were caught today too.  The offshore boats had good dolphin fishing, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Below is the “Sea Creature” with their sailfish they released today.

  • The 4th of July Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the July 4th Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    Happy 4th of July to all of our customers.  We appreciate each and every one of you.  The Weather in Frisco was sunny and humid today.  We had south-west winds 10-15 mph with some gust to 20 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  Around the Buxton beaches their were some sea mullet and a few spanish mackerel caught.  The Frisco beach had some nice catches of sea mullet with some citation size fish.  The Hatteras beaches were producing lots of sea mullet and some pompano.  The inshore boats caught all the spanish mackerel you wanted and a few speckled trout.  The offshore fleet came back with good amounts of dolphin in the gaffer and bailer size, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Two blue marlin, a hatchet marlin(similar to a white marlin) and a sailfish were released today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny, hot and humid.  We had south winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches were the most productive today.  Fisherman caught sea mullet and pompano. Some citation sea mullet were caught on the Frisco beach.  The picture below is a 1 lb 11 oz citation sea mullet caught by William Taylor on the Frisco Beach today.  The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish.  In the Pamlico Sound good catches of speckled trout and a few big drum and a cobia were caught.  The offshore boats had good dolphin fishing with a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Several sailfish and a blue marlin were released today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and hot again today.  We had south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s. Their were scattered sea mullets caught on the Buxton and Frisco beaches today.  That’s about all from the surf.  The inshore boats had good catches of spanish mackerel and bluefish.  Some nice catches of speckled trout and a few gray trout reported with a  few big drum released.  The offshore boats had excellent catches of dolphin and a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  One white marlin and two sailfish were released today from the Hatteras fleet.
