Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had partly sunny skies and the temperatures were nice.  The winds were from the  north-east switching to the south-east at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable and should be all week.

There were sharks and skates caught on the Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  A few sea mullet were reported on the Frisco beach and a 46″ striper was caught on the Hatteras beach today.

No boats fished inshore and a few fished offshore.  They caught a  nice bunch of blackfin tuna, some were citation size.  There were some wahoo and albacore also caught.

We had partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures.  The winds were from the  north-east at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable and should be all week.

There were sharks and skates caught on the Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  A few sea mullet were reported on the Frisco beach.

No boats fished inshore or offshore.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. We had another beautiful sunny day with warmer temperatures.  The winds were from the west switching to the north-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable and should be all week.

The report is the same as yesterday.  Fishing was slow again today.  There were sharks and skates caught on the Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  A scattered puppy drum and speckled trout bite was reported on the Buxton beach using lures.

No boats fished inshore.  The offshore boats had excellent blackfin tuna fishing today .

Fishing was slow again today.  There were sharks and skates caught on the Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  A scattered puppy drum bite was reported on the Buxton beach.

The inshore boats had a real good day today.  They caught a bunch of puppy drum and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.  No boats fishing offshore today .
