• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and the winds were calm today.  We had north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.  The Avon beaches had some spot, sea mullet, small puppy drum and black drum.  Around the Buxton beaches there were a few spot, sea mullet, bluefish, small puppy drum and pompano.  Out at Cape Point there were some keeper drum and some yearling drum caught.  A good amount of small bluefish were caught throughout the day.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beaches the bluefish bite and puppy drum bite were decent along with some sea mullet.  The inshore fishing was good today with speckled and gray trout and some bluefish.  The offshore boats had good blackfin tuna fishing and a few wahoo and dolphin.  Some nice grouper were also caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and nice.  We had north-east winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.  Up on the Avon beach a few spot, flounder and sea mullet were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches bluefish, flounder and some small puppy drum were reported.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was good.  On the Frisco beach some nice bigger bluefish were caught along with some spot and small puppy drum.  The Hatteras beaches had some bluefish and sea mullet.  The inshore boats caught some speckled and gray trout, bluefish and puppy drum.  Just a few boats offshore and they had real good blackfin tuna fishing, a few wahoo and dolphin.  Some nice tilefish and grouper were brought up off the bottom today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and nice with windy conditions, just like yesterday.  We had north north-east winds 10-15 mph with some gusts to 25 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 70’s.   Up on the Avon beach some bluefish, spot and flounder were caught.  The Buxton beaches had some bluefish, spot and blow toads.  Out at Cape Point there was a good bluefish bite throughout the day.  On the south beaches of Frisco and Hatteras there were sea mullet, bluefish, spot and flounder reported.  No boats fished inshore today.  A few offshore boats fished.  They caught a few blackfin tuna, dolphin and wahoo.  Some trigger fish and red snapper were brought up from bottom today as well.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and nice with windy conditions.  We had north-east winds 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.  On the Avon and Buxton beaches there were sea mullet, pompano, puppy drum and bluefish caught.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish and puppy drum bite was good.  Some big red drum were reported along with some sea mullet and pompano.  Over on the Frisco beach the small puppy drum with some keepers, bluefish and sea mullet were caught.  Down at Hatteras Inlet there were bluefish, spanish mackerel, flounder and puppy drum reported.  The inshore boats had a good day of spanish mackerel and flounder.  The offshore fishing was a little slow.  A few dolphin, blackfin tuna and wahoo were reported.  Some nice tilefish, b liners, red snapper and grouper were brought up from the bottom.  One sailfish was released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and nice with light winds.  We had north north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.  The Avon beach had some nice sea mullet, spot, croaker and puppy drum.  Out at Cape Point there was a 42 in red drum caught by Jennifer Arguelles which is pictured below and some pompano and bluefish.  On the Frisco beach a few bluefish, puppy drum and sea mullet were caught.  The Hatteras beaches had sea mullet, pompano, puppy drum and flounder.  The inshore boats had good catches of bluefish, speckled and gray trout.  A school of tarpon was spotted in the Pamlico Sound today.
    The offshore boats and a decent day with some nice blackfin tuna, a few wahoo and dolphin.  3 sailfish were released.
