New Years Day was another warm day.  We had south-west winds at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.  Tomorrow will be cooler and the winds will pickup from the north-west at 15-25 mph and the temperatures will drop to the mid 40’s and then to the mid 30’s in the evening.  At Cape Point the dog sharks and skates are still hitting really good.  There were scattered speckled trout being caught this morning along the Buxton beaches.  No boats out today.

New Years Eve was warm and sunny.  We had west south-west winds at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.  Not much to report from the surf.  There are still plenty of sharks and skates at Cape Point.  No boats out today that I am aware of.  Frisco Rod and Gun hopes everyone has a safe and Happy New Years and 2012 is better than ever.

Today was nice and sunny.  We had light south-west winds at 10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.  Cape Point is still producing sharks and skates.  Down the south beach to Frisco there were a few speckled trout and a scattered bluefish caught.  Out on the Hatteras beach there were some puppy drum reported.  There were no boats out today even though the weather was nice.

The weather today was great.  We had light west winds less than 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.  There are still sharks and skates being caught at Cape Point.  A few puppy drum and scattered speckled trout were caught on the Frisco Beach .  The offshore boats made it out today for a good catch of blackfin and yellowfin tuna.

Today was windy and overcast.  We had west winds 20-30 mph early this morning.  By the afternoon the winds dropped a little to 15-20 and the skies were sunny.   The temperatures were in the low to mid 40’s all day.  Nothing to report from the beaches today.   No boats out today.  This weekend looks real nice with some 60 degree temperatures.
