Today was very windy and rainy.  We had south-west winds 25-30 mph with gusts to 40 this afternoon and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.  The rain stopped around 5pm and its been clear since.  The few people who fished reported bluefish on cut bait up and down the Frisco beach.  Some black drum were reported on the Ocracoke beaches using shrimp this morning.  No boats fished today due to the weather.

  • Merry Christmas

Today the weather was beautuful. We had light north winds at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.  We hope everyone had a good Christmas. The water was clear on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches. There were a few people fishing but nothing caught that I know of. With the water clearing there should be some speckled trout being caught. We drove out on the beach in Hatteras today and came accross this beach Christmas tree.
