• Outer Banks Fishing Report 10-13

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather today was mostly sunny with a scattered rain showers. Cape Point had plenty of bluefish and some puppy drum this morning.  A few bigger drum were also caught.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had all the bluefish you wanted.  Inshore boats caught some speckled trout and puppy drum. There were more boats fishing offshore today.  They had good wahoo fishing and fair dolphin and black fin tuna.

  • Outer Banks Fishing Report 10-12

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

     Today was nice and sunny with some afternoon showers and warmer temperatures.  The winds were from the south-east switching to the south-west in the afternoon.  Cape Point had a real good drum bite real late last night and early this morning.  They should be there again tonight.  The Frisco beach had a few bluefish, sea mullet and black drum.  Down at Hatteras Inlet the bluefish bite was good.  The inshore boats had good speckled trout and gray trout.  Only one boat fishing offshore today and they caught 10 wahoo and a few black fin tuna and bailer dolphin.

  • Outer Banks Fishing Report 10-11

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

     Today was a rainy one.  It rained all day long.  The winds were from the north-east at 10-15 mph and temperatures were in the low 70’s.  Well Cape Point had another good drum bite this morning.  Fish was from slot size to mid 30 inch range.  There were also plenty of bluefish caught.  On the Frisco beach there were puppy drum, bluefish and a few sea mullet caught.  Down at Hatteras Inlet there were a few bluefish caught.  No boats fished today due to the bad weather.

  • Outer Banks Fishing Report 10-10

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    Well today was about the same as the past few days.  Partly cloudy and winds from the north-east at 10-15 mph.  The temperatures were in low 70’s.  Cape Point had some good bluefish and puppy drum fishing, a few sea mullet also reported.  The Frisco beach had some bluefish and Hatteras Inlet had bluefish and puppy drum.  The only boat fishing inshore had good catches of nice size bluefish, flounder and some puppy drum.  Only one boat fishing offshore today and they limited out on wahoo.  The biggest was 45 lbs.

  • Outer Banks Fishing Report 10-9

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

     Today was a little breezy and partly cloudy.  The winds were from the north-east at 15-20 mph and the temperatures in the low 70’s.  On the beach fishing front there were some sea mullet and bluefish on the Avon beach.  Cape Point still has some bluefish around.  The Frisco beach was a little slow with only some bluefish.  Down at Hatteras Inlet the bluefish bite was slow but there were some puppy drum caught on the sound side.   The inshore boats had good catches of speckled trout and some keeper puppy drum.
