Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today was another sunny day with light winds early in the morning.  The winds were from the west this morning at 5 mph, then switching to the south-west at 15-20 mph and temperatures in the mid 60’s. Cape Point was a little slow on the drum bite, but tonight should be happening with the south-west wind.  There were some bluefish, a few flounder and sea mullet caught at Cape Point and down towards the Frisco beach.  Lots of skates and sharks caught down at Hatteras Inlet.  The offshore fleet had a good day.  Limits of wahoo and king mackerel and a few dolphin and amberjacks.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The weather was great today.  Light north-west winds at 5 mph and temperatures were in the upper 60’s.  Well Cape Point is still producing big drum.  They were catching them late last night, early this morning and most of the day today.  There were a few bluefish and some skates being caught too.  The Frisco beach had some decent sea mullet and bluefish.  Down at Hatteras Inlet the bluefish were biting pretty good and lots of skates.  I have no inshore reports but offshore fishing is real good again.  Lots of wahoo’s and a few dolphin and yellowfin and blackfin tuna.
