The weather on Hatteras Island today was pretty nice.  We had light north-west winds switching to the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.  There are still alot of blow toads and a good sea mullet bite on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  Not too many boats fishing offshore at Hatteras today.   The ones that did caught a few dolphin and a couple of wahoo.   Below is one of the dolphin caught aboard the “Godspeed” today.

Another sunny day with warm temperatures.  We had west north-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.  The blow toad and sea mullet fishing was really good again today around Cape Point and along the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  Offshore fishing was much different today than yesterday.  Current in the bluewater caused yesterdays tuna fishing to be non existent.  Only a few yellowfin and blackfin tuna along with a scattered wahoo.  That’s about it.  Oh some albacore and bonitas were also caught.

What a beautiful Easter Sunday here on Hatteras Island.  We had sunny skies with the winds from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.  The blow toads and sea mullet fishing continues to be good.  Seems like the Frisco and Hatteras beaches are producing the most.  The yellowfin tuna fishing was excellent in  the offshore waters of Hatteras today, with limits.  A few blackfin tuna were mixed in.  Below is one of the yellowfin tuna limits from the “Bite Me” charter boat.
