Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today was mostly sunny with a midday shower.  We had south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.   A customer told us today that yesterday they caught a nice mess of bluefish around the Frisco Pier.  Today the blow toads and bluefish showed up there.  The big drum are back on the southern Ocracoke beaches.  There were also some puppy drum caught down that way.  Offshore fishing was excellent with limits of yellowfin tuna and plenty of bluefin tuna.  All of the fish in the picture were caught on top water plugs.  You talk about some fun fishing, 200 lb fish busting on top just behind the boat.  Below is a nice catch of yellowfin tuna and a bluefin tuna from the “Bite Me” charter boat.

Today was quite nice.  We had sunny skies and south-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.  We have had a few folks in today buying bait and giving it a try, but as of right now all I have heard were some sharks down off of Hattreras and Ocracoke.  The offshore yellowfin tuna fishing was excellent today with limits.  A few bluefin tuna of a smaller class and a few dolphin were caught.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today the weather was sunny.  We had north-east winds 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.  Even though the weather has improved from the weekend I have not heard of any report of fish being caught from the surf.  The only boat fishing offshore today really got into the bluefin tuna.  Eleven were released and one brought to the dock.  Photo below from Hatteras Harbor Marina.

Today was very windy with some rain showers.  We had west south-west winds 25-35 mph with some gusts to 45 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 50’s.  Another day of bad weather and no reports from the surf or the boats.  Tomorrow the wind should decrease to 10-15 mph out if the north and the temperatures will be in the upper 40’s.

Today was windy and rainy.  We had north-west winds 15-25 mph and rain most of the morning with the temperatures in the mid 50’s.  The sun came out for about two hours just before dark and then it rained again.  Due to the weather no reports of anyone fishing from the beaches or the boats.
