Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today was mostly sunny with some cooler temperatures.  The winds were from the north-west this morning switching to the south-west and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.  Fishing was pretty decent around Cape Point.  Some blow toads and sea mullet were reported there.  A scattered report of blow toads, bluefish and sea mullet on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  The offshore fishing today was really good.  The wahoo fishing was excellent, some citation fish were caught.  A few blackfin tuna and dolphin were also caught.  Below a citation wahoo weighing in at 59 lbs caught aboard the “Godspeed” charter boat today.  This was one of 6 wahoo’s they caught.
