Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was sunny today.  We had west south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.  The Avon beaches had some croaker, sea mulllet, spot and some bluefish.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had scattered catches of sea mullet and pompano.  The inshore fleet caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish.  Several big red drum were released from 30″ to 47″.  The offshore boats had real good fishing.  Good dolphin catches and a few blackfin tuna and wahoo.  The Marlin fishing was really good.  The Hatteras Harbor fleet released 1 sailfish, four white marlin and four blue marlin.  Three of the blue marlin were caught by the “Hatteras Fever II” charter boat.
