Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was sunny today with some early rain showers early.  We had south-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were 90 degrees.  The Buxton beach  had reports of sea mullet and spot.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beaches there were citation sea mullet caught and a few pompano.  The inshore boats caught some speckled and gray trout along with a few bluefish.  The offshore boats had good catches of dolphin, a few wahoo and scattered blackfin tuna.  The “Islander” boat released two white marlin and a blue marlin.  The bottom fishing was pretty good today. Tilefish, sea bass, grouper and triggerfish were all brought back to the dock.

Tomorrow is the last day of the Tax Free weekend for North Carolina.  Come by and take advantage of this offer.

Check out today’s featured fishing product:

The One More Cast River Rigs is a 2 drop bottom rig made of fluro carbon with no snaps or swivels. Catches more sea mullet and pompano. Just like the ones in the other posts from today.
