Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny and the swell from tropical storm Leslie is about the same.  We had south-west winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph.  The temperatures were in the mid 80’s.  The Avon beach had some nice sea mullet and small puppy drum.  The Buxton beaches produced some nice pompano and sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was good on lures and the small puppy drum were hitting cut bait.  A few spanish mackerel were mixed in.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had some scattered catches of small puppy drum, spot, sea mullet and bluefish.  The inshore boats caught some nice speckled and gray trout along with bluefish.  The offshore boats reported good wahoo and scattered catches of dolphin and blackfin tuna.

It’s the most deadly lead alternative to ever hit the flyway – putting a greater number of pellets on game at longer ranges, with equal pellet energy and deeper penetration than any other similar density non-toxic material.  Even Better it’s on sale at Frisco Rod and Gun, just in time for waterfowl season.  Click the picture to go directly to our site.
