Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The weather in Frisco was partly sunny with a few rain showers early in the morning today.  We had south-west winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were around 80 degrees.  The swell from tropical storm Rafael has diminished more today.

Bluefish, sea mullet, a few speckled trout and puppy drum were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was pretty good today with a few puppy drum.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beach some bluefish and a few puppy drum were reported

The inshore boats had another day of real good gray and speckled trout fishing.  Some good flounder and lots of bluefish being caught.  Boats fishing offshore today had good wahoo bites and scattered dolphin, yellowfin and blackfin tuna.  A few sailfish were released.
