Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had overcast skies with cooler temperatures and rain showers off and on all day.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph.  The temperatures were in the low 70’s.

The fishing was better today.  We had reports of bluefish, a few spot, puppy drum  and pompano on the Buxton beach.  Over on the  Frisco and Hatteras beaches there were sea mullet, pompano, bluefish and croakers caught.

The boats that fished inshore today caught bluefish, a few puppy drum, speckled and gray trout.

The offshore wahoo fishing was good today with a few dolphin and a few white marlin released..
