Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had partly cloudy skies.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph with gusts to 20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

On the Buxton beach only a few sea mullet and pompano were caught.  Out at Cape Point a few spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught.  Over on the  Frisco beaches some flounder and sea mullet were reported.   The Hatteras beach had sea mullet, blues, and flounder caught.

The boats that fished inshore today caught bluefish,  few puppy drum limits, speckled and gray trout as well as some cobia.

The offshore fishing was pretty good today with a few dolphin and  3 sailfish released..
