Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 80’s.. The winds were from the west-south-west at 10-15mph this morning, subsiding to around 5mph this evening.
On the Buxton beach today there were some croaker and sea mullet caught. Out at Cape Point a few spanish mackerel were caught this evening. Over on the Frisco beaches some sea mullet were reported.
The boats that fished inshore caught some gray and speckled trout.
The offshore wahoo fishing was excellent again today. There were a few citations ranging from 41-56 pounds.
