Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had rainy weather off and on most of the day.  The winds were from the south south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

The Buxton beaches had reports of some puppy drum and bluefish.  The past few nights the big red drum have been caught out at Cape Point.  With tonight’s south-west winds they should be there again tonight for those who make the trek.  Over on the Frisco beach today a few puppy drum and blow toads were reported.  Down on the Hatteras beach a few big bluefish were caught.

There is no inshore or offshore report today.
