Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had quite a severe storm that passed by last night around 10pm.  We had heavy rain and lots of strong wind gust.  Some gust were reported to be as high as 70 mph.  Some sound side flooding was reported in Hatteras Village and some ocean over wash in Buxton around the Motels.  Today’s weather was overcast and windy.  The winds were from the north-east at 15-25 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 40’s.

There were a few puppy drum and sea mullet caught on the Buxton beach.  The Frisco Beach had some sharks and skates reported.

There is no inshore or offshore report today.
