Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was warm with partly cloudy skies.  The winds were from the east south-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

On the Buxton beaches around the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Jetties there were reports of puppy drum and black drum caught.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton there were some bluefish caught.  Over on the Frisco Beach at Ramp 49 there were puppy drum caught along with a few speckled trout, sea mullet and flounder.

There is no inshore report for today.

The offshore boats had excellent catches of dolphin and a few blackfin tuna and some wahoo.
