Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was cloudy with on and off rain showers.  We reached a high of 80F.  We have SE winds this morning, switching to the SW this afternoon blowing from 5-10 mph.

Cape Point had spanish mackerel this morning and evening, bluefish and sea mullet were also caught.  Frisco had reports of sea mullet and bluefish.  Hatteras had reports of sea mullet, spot and croaker.

The inshore boats had nice catches of red drum.  The offshore boats that ventured out had nice catches of dolphin, limits of wahoo and nice catches of bottom fish.  Pictured below is Godspeed Charters with a nice gaffer dolphin caught today.
